Four-Stage Quality Process
Kavain tests every batch through a four-stage quality assurance process: sourcing standards verification, HPLC kavalactone profiling, heavy metal and microbial screening, and full documentation with Certificates of Analysis. Our facilities are ISO 22000:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, HACCP compliant, and Kosher certified.
Sourcing Standards
Farmer selection criteria, harvest timing, root age requirements (3-5 years minimum)
Laboratory Testing
HPLC kavalactone profiling, heavy metals, microbial, and pesticide residue testing
Processing Controls
Temperature management, contamination prevention, and batch tracking systems
Documentation
